Unrivaled craftsmanship and service push StanCraft Boat Company forward!
Robb and Amy Bloem are partners in most aspects of life. The married couple share ownership and management of StanCraft Wooden Boats, and the success of the business relies on how they complement each other on the job.
“Amy and I have worked together at many jobs since we were in college and in our professional careers,” Robb said. “We balance each other out – with my aggressive growth mission and Amy’s ability to take it all in, analyze and slow down when necessary. We have the combination that gets us the growth we want with the reality of what it takes to get there.”
That balance has led to enormous success since they started the business in 2003. StanCraft has roots as far back as 1933, and three generations of family ownership. Amy’s parents, Syd and Julie Young, sold the previous incarnation of the business to the Hagadone Corporation in 1997, but the StanCraft name and boat manufacturing aspect remained under family ownership.
