Employment – Hiring to Firing: Today’s Opportunities & Obligations @ North Idaho Small Business Development Center

Managing the employee life-cycle is a function that every company should prioritize because it involves the company’s most critical asset:  its people.  The employee life cycle encompasses various stages in the career of an employee, beginning with recruitment and concluding with resignation, termination or retirement.  Employers need to know which questions to ask or avoid, during an interview, how to engage the employee throughout the on-boarding process, maintain compliance, and properly terminate employees to help reduce unnecessary legal risks with each of those steps.  This class will touch on these items and more.
