Do you want to know what your income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement tell you about your business performance and health? Do you want to learn to use key financial ratios and benchmarks to measure and improve your results?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this class is for you. This is the second of a four-part series on financial management for small business owners.

In this class you will learn:

  • The purpose and components of the three main financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
  • How to use financial statements to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in your business
  • The importance of setting financial goals and tracking your progress using budgets and forecasts
  • How to use financial statements to communicate with stakeholders such as lenders, investors, suppliers, and customers

By the end of this class, you will better understand your financial statements and how to use them to make informed and strategic decisions for your business. You will also have access to templates, tools and resources to help you apply what you learn in your own business.

She has owned her own ad agency and also worked as advertising director for a large sportswear manufacturer. After moving to Idaho she took up restaurant and event management. She completed the graphic design program at NIC and holds a degree in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM, Los Angeles. Teree and her son own a growing CNC Manufacturing business in Coeur d'Alene.
